Description

Aluna Rift is a challenging arcade space shooter for 1-2 players with solo, co-op and PvP game modes. The main game sets you on a journey to hunt and destroy colossal bosses hidden in the depths of space. Along the way you will encounter increasingly difficult foes and have to deal with random unforeseen dangers. In addition there is an ‘Endless Survival’ mode akin to classic shoot ‘em ups from the golden age of arcade gaming.

History

Originally part of a job application that tasked me to "Remake Asteroids in Unity" - Aluna Rift has evolved over the past 9 months into its own entity whilst still paying homage to the inspiration of its peers.

The game has been developed almost entirely by myself, and also features an original soundtrack by the fantastic Blackout Noise.

Aluna Rift will be released on both PC and Nintendo Switch, and has a free demo available on Steam right now.
