First screenshots from ADDICT gameplay. You see several things in action here. First, the incredibly retro look and feel of the game is on display in these images. You get a feeling for the engine as well, which is a very simple old-school tile based map which was programmed with C# in XNA. As for items, you'll see some pickaxes, Holy Books, wings, and other things. . . and of course "The Watcher!" He's a nasty villian, and you'll be ready to escape the bowels of your mind by the time you're done playing. Feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think!
