3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! I was wondering why 3079 doesn't have the option of cheaper, ammo-based weapons that have to be refilled in "ammo paks".

Basically you'd have a type of ammo for each type of weapon, and a seperate "ammo" bar that displays in percentile how much ammo you have.

For extra points, make these weapons use caseless ammo.

Essentially it would provide a cheaper alternative for characters that died a lot and nearly ran out of money, but be more expensive to maintain in the long run.

Like repairing weapons, I always found maintaining ammo a chore in other games. I think it would especially be a chore in 3079 since you shoot so often, and merchants are not highly abundant. I have the option of say, mining, for the player to get some money if they need to buy a weapon.

i know this is off topic but how about different types of merchant like health pack merchants,weapon merchants,armor merchants,well you get the pointi hate going to 5 different merchants just to find 1 healthpack

I've had that request a few times, but I've decided against it. If there were different merchant types, then you'd be searching for the type of merchant you need, instead of searching the inventory of merchants for what you need. To better explain this -- if there were 4 different merchant types, only 25% of the merchants could stock what you are looking for. You may be looking for a health pack now, but another player is looking for a construction tool or night vision goggles (e.g. making one set of items easier to find is only going to make other items harder to find).
