3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. You will find unique lands & challenges. I hope you enjoy it! "Just want to say again that this is a great game! For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! Hey, Phr00t, I just got 3079, and I was thinking about something to make bases more "alive". Like maybe adding in marketplace areas where there are salesmen for different things. (Like different levels of grappling hook for those who can't find one that can hold their character.) Another thing I was thinking of was maybe make buy-able houses available for those who want to spend more time fighting than building. maybe 200,000-1,000,000 credits, depending on size? Houses would include things like storage rooms on the first floor., ranging from probably 3 storage crates for the 200,000 credit houses, to maybe 20-30 for 1,000,000 credit ones. Maybe also a room with a few healing consoles. And they would also would have four turrets around them on each corner for any house costing 450,000 credits and above. The rest of the floors could be empty and the user could do whatever they wanted with them.
Price Listings for Floors/Storage:
1 Floor, 3 Storage Crates, 1 Healing Console, 200,000 Credits
2 Floors, 10 Storage Crates, 3 Healing consoles, 450,000 Credits
3 Floors, 20 Storage Crates, 5 Healing Consoles, 650,000 Credits
4 Floors, 25 Storage Crates, 10 Healing Consoles, 800,000 Credits
5 Floors, 30 Storage Crates, 15 Healing consoles, 1,000,000 Credits.

(NOTE: The size of each floor would also go up to account for the large amount of items.)

Thanks for staying through my long and boring to read idea, and I hope it's put in-game.

This is a pretty interesting idea -- prefab buildings for a price :) Not sure how it would work, though. Where and how would the houses be placed..?

Maybe when you go to buy it gives you a map of the base and you can select where to build it? (If it isn't blocked by other buildings.)

I built a house that fits all my needs for around 4k turrets aren't perm and can only place 3 which makes me sad 4! 4!!!! EVEN NUMBERS T_T

Also chests are a bit weird...i stored my items and they disapeared and were replaced with store items...

mindtrixx, I think I got that "replaced items" thing fixed in v2.13.3b. Let me know if you still experience this problem after updating...

Okay! waiting for servers to update :D (was in multiplayer)

the prefab thing is a great idea. how it could work is that you would have a construction tool that would kinda have a selection area where the house would go. the ground would have to be level and stuff like that. but it would work just like placing a building in an rts. then after you placed the house the tool would be used up. makes sense in theory. in code that could be another thing altogether. just my two cents

i think that would make the game funner as if its not fun already but i mean really being able to actually find a item you need would be nice also what about being a commander of your own army and being able to give them weapons and equipment but you would use a tool for that
