3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. You will find unique lands & challenges. I hope you enjoy it! "Just want to say again that this is a great game! For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! Best Regards, Adam" -- SeaNanners Sequel @ 3089game.wordpress.com

The server is now dedicated due to testing purposes and different crashes while hosting. The IP ADDRESS remains the same at the moment. Even though the server also managed to run for many hours, even without dedicated mode. Sadly even in dedicated mode the server just happened to crash within 1-2 minutes. The guy was building some home/storage boxes, but I think its not necessarily related, since it cannot be reproduced. I suspect there is a memory leak or something in that direction: ------------------------------------------------------------- Pastebin.com Had to adjust some stuff using JAVA HOME @ environment variables until java would be able to run through cmd. Even though i had it set to the java folder in PATH already. Anyways... My machine is i7 2700k @ 4.2 Ghz, 16GB RAM, Win 7 - 64 Bit Ultimate and some Gforce 580 GTX. Internet: 100/10 MB. Judging from the article I found adapting xm RAM allocations to bigger sizes will probably not help. But haven't tried. Also got other stuff to do, maybe that might help: Edited by: osram |

OK, I will look into this... EDIT: I believe I have this fixed -- I was re-creating the compression objects every time data was sent or received, now I re-use them. This should fix the memory leak -- it might also improve performance and lag Edited by: Phr00t |
