There are only few objects, why should performance drop?
Not looking to highpoly.
Light calculation so expensive?

Hi there! The scene was a stress test. There was no occlussion culling (so there are dozens of objects actually rendering in the other rooms too) and there are more than 20 lights casting shadows at the same time outisde this room (and lighting in Unity is...quite expensive, the moment you add shadows) :)

The main character has ~16-20k triangles and while the scene is indeed not too complex, we were also recording the test, downloading a Steam game and with several other programs open at the same time on a mid end laptop :)

The performance test part was more to see how slow the game runs without any kind of optimization and when the PC is under stress for more programs, and then go up from there. Surprisingly, even with no optimization of any kind the game is still playable enough, but we are still going to add the optimizations during the weekend :)
