This is a rather unique weapon, you can throw this or spin it around, but you got to keep it spinning in order for it to do any damage, it is heavy and sucks up a lot of strength and stamina but if it hit the right area through a throw or whack it could cause a lot of damage.
hell yeah, I love those weapons :D
i can just see having 1 in each hand and getting good with these O_O
Remember these are very poor defensive weapons.
Unless you spin them really fast in front of you, then nothing can get through! :D
Lol.. just hit with spear in middle of chains and its ****** ....
Or just go straight to the chest with a spear if he hasn't got a shield.
Yes, but itwould be very tiring.
or just kick him in the nuts...
will it be free flowing?
for example you spin around in circles will the ball fly outwards?
The chains will have rope physics, yes it would fly outwards.
Aaah the flail thats just lovely i wish they had those in every medieval game hehehe
It is not a flail, this is different :D
Marriage as a weapon? Who knew? lol.
Seriously though: your flail looks nice. kind of like a morning-star on a chain though...
Wait... what do mean it's not a flail? I thought that the very definition of a flail was "ball and chain"...
Yes, but this is use in a different manner i.e you can throw it or you can spin it in front of you (Not like a flail on which you can spin above your head, have you seen the size of the head and handle?)
So these are used differently, heck you could just throw this into a group of men and pray to hit someone.
wow intressting, the weapons, or some will be physics based?
will it be possible to mess up the momentum of weapons like this and the flail and possibly hit yourself? Or you got some combat stance where your character keeps the ball going until you click for an attack perhaps?
is momentum even taken into account for dealing damage btw?
and further more, can physics objects hurt you? like get a peice of that destroyed wall from the video in your face etc?
lol typing as I go :D
All of them yes, the chain will be on rope physics, all attacks are based on the weapons weight, the speed of the weapon and it's momentum, meaning no stats like 'attack'
It's called a flail.
