Persian Wonder by Enrique: the Hanging Gardens of Babylon (with animated waterfalls).
the hanging gardens.. this makes me think back to the time i played Rise of Nations.. great game.
but anyhoo, this is beautiful
I definitely agree with Chompster here, though I think that the model needs to blend in with the terrain more. Right now it feels a bit out of place.
lol was thinking the exact same thing, but i guess it's just to showcase the model. when actually being used in game i'm sure it'll be surrounded by things to make it blend in
a path would be a nice thing with it
That was the point of the building to begin with. To remind the Shahs wife of her lush mountain home in the middle of the desert.
Oh, maybe I should have mentioned that I didn't talk about the model as a whole, but more specifically the the "border" (can't find the right word...) around the base of the structure.
I think it should be more sand-ish, as it is bordered by sand.
very nice model
remindes me a lot of titan quest (go figure why :) )
Me too... Those Greek levels with the lizard people...
Very nice model. Lots of detail for our eye candy
*small 3d people in the game*
woooaww O-laa-laaaaa O___O''
This makes me wanna play age of empires 1 again...
NOSTALGIA
HOLY!!! That is beautiful, excellent work... whoever who worked on this!
It looks even better now (some small edits) and especially when the water is animated :) So yeah, great work from everyone who made this happen, we are fortunate to have skilled people working on 0 A.D. :)
Amazing!
Damn.
The white tree on top, inspiration from Minas Tirith? Anyway really gorgeous but as Airborne says it would really benefit from some terrain variation around it.
