Voice Actors Needed Thread

Game Info: Ataxia

It's February and it is time for you to lend your voices to Ataxia! We got a
few voice slot open and if you think you've got the time, the passion, and the
talent, we want to hear from you!

How to get started:

Step 1: Browse the list of available characters!

Below will be a character name and a description. This is to help you get an
idea of who you will be auditioning for.

Step 2: Select your character! (As many as you would like)

Once you've decided below will be a set of lines associated with that character
for you to audition with!

Step 3: Select a recording device!

You can record with whatever you feel will best capture your voice; Video
camera, microphone, whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Step 4: Recording!

Make sure you find a place that is real nice and quiet. Try to avoid bathrooms,
big empty hallways, basically any area that will bounce sound off of
everything. We suggest a closet, padded area, or sound proofed room of your
choosing. Read your lines carefully and
clearly. About three times for each line should be good. Don't forget to
introduce yourself and who you are auditioning for!

Step 5: Submitting

Once you've finished and are confident send it to us at Ondayo.Studios@me.com

Step 6: Waiting

Yes, there will be waiting. We will be reviewing all of our submissions and we
will get back to those who get called back.

Step 7: The call back

If selected for a second audition, we will contact you, and then you will
actually get to see who you will be voicing, as you audition again in real
time! In front of the crew!

Step 8: Success

You've done it! You've made it as a voice actor and we will notify you the day
we begin our recording! Congrats!

Available Characters:

Aurora

She is the creator of the universe and of all life within it.
She has been at the beginning and will remain long after the end. All of life
bow to her and live according to her divine will. Should they ever stray, they
will witness the might of her divine wrath.

Lines: I created
man because I knew that only they could love me without fault. They would come
to see me as their mother and I would never lead them astray.

You've come seeking salvation? You speak of love and
devotion in the same breath with which you damned me and my name. How am I to
believe you when you lie as easily as you speak truth?

I have offered you more than I could ever give and still you
reject my love. Me? Your mother who gave you the gift of life? Your mother who
protected you? If this is the path you have chosen, then you must walk it
alone!

Spyce

Spyce is a rather portly fellow with a handle bar mustache.
He is a stickler for dates, promptness, and is particularly annoyed by those
who "Dilly Dally" especially while he is giving one of his world renowned grand
tours.

Lines: Helllooo,
I am Spyce! Please follow along in a neat and single file line. There is little
time and much to cover. Please, this waaay!

Welcome to the shopping district. Here you can purchase
various food items and rarities from the celestial plane. You may browse but
please do not Dilly Dally, there is still soo much left to see!

Ahp , ahp, ahp, ahp there is a time and place for that, but that time is not
now and that place is not here. You may continue your merrymaking after the
tour has completed. We must remain on
schhhhhhhedule!

Baer

Baer is a giant by normal standards. Standing at 7'4 he
literally towers over a majority of his populace. Although big and imposing, Baer is gentle in
nature. He is the caretaker and the fearless protector of a local orphanage. He
will stop at nothing to ensure their safety, even going as far as to risk his
own life.

Lines: My name is Baer. I am keeper
of this building and the protector of these children here in Techne. Are you
looking to adopt? No, you are too young; perhaps you are dropping off?

I built this place with my own two hands! Safe as can be!
Nothing will get to them up here, and in the unlikely event anything does? They
will have to deal with Baer!

Get behind me! I will not let you harm a single hair on
their precious heads! My name is Baer!

Isaac

Isaac could be considered the runt of any litter. He is
tiny, weak, and his clumsiness makes things more difficult than he would like.
What he lacks in grace, he makes up for with intelligence. He would be the
world's greatest engineer....if only he could remember where he kept his notes.

Lines: Ohh darn
it all! If the boss finds out I messed this up.....I don't even want to think
what will happen. P-pleeeease don't tell her anything! Ok?

I'd love to help you kids but I'm kind of swamped at the moment. Perhaps if I
had some freaking notes, I'd know how to deal with this... Unless you have some
sort of answer book, this thing isn't going anywhere. You are going to have to
come back when the monorail is operational.

Ohhhhhhhh craaaaap! That isn't supposed to do that. That really really isn't supposed to do that! Ok....Ok...nobody
panic! I can fix this! I got this! .......I don't got this.

Dongji

Dongji , Master of the Ice and Snow. Having spent years
harnessing the powers of the frost, Dongji has since gone on to become its sole
personification. He lives in a frozen domain, devoted to his craft, hoping to
uncover the mysterious properties of ice.

Lines: Perhaps I was not clear. You
cannot hope to obtain the title of master in one night. It takes years of
practice, tireless dedication, an absolute devotion to your craft to where it borders
on insanity.

I was certain nothing could have survived the icing. We may
be dealing with powers far greater than my own.

Be gone devils! Leave this place at once! Pray I stay my
hand or you shall feel the icy kiss of death.

Neto

Neto, King of Flames. Despite being called king, he is anything but. A fighter
by nature, Neto is more interested in fighting for his kingdom than ruling it. Known
for his hot headedness and short temper, Neto can be difficult to deal with,
and once he's enraged, all reason goes out the window.

Lines: The time
for talk is long over monsters! You may have moved me from the shift, but now I
am more aware of my surroundings! I have the home field advantage!

Do you have any idea who I am?! I am the King of Flames! I will not be defeated
by some peasant.

You will address me as King, and KING only! I have not lived
a thousand life times to have some....some....human address me in such a manner.
Know your place, or be burned to ash!

Vera

Vera, Diva of the Dancing Spring. Vera is known for her charm and grace and her
natural beauty. Being the embodiment of earth, her appearance is a testament to
the beauty of nature. Vera, has a love for the performing arts and is quite the
dancer. She is a talented dancer but not much of anything else and often times
forgets to observe the world around her, making her somewhat of an airhead.

Lines: Rhe'a? What a
beautiful name. My name is Vera, would you like to dance?

Oh? I have guests? I didn't see you come in. Did you enjoy
the show? I've been working on it for quite some time. I call it "Beauty in
Bloom." What did you think? Too fast? Too slow? I didn't put enough of me into it right? Here, let me do it
again.

You know, if you had shown up before, you might have hated
it! My creative juices just haven't been following lately and everything has
suffered for it. I figured a bit of meditation would help me out of this slump.
Then you guys came along and fixed that! I've never felt soo.... invigorated!

Shish(kabob)
Shish used to be a member of an elite defense unit known as The Saber Claws. Nothing meant more to
Shish than defending people of his homeland. However, after conflict arose
between him and his commanding officer he was "relieved" of duty and imprisoned
for treason. He orchestrated his escape
and with a few inmates, organized a unit of his own, to fight for his people
from the shadows.

Lines: My name is Shiskabob. Friends
call me Shish... or Bob, whichever is easier. I'd tell you more but it's not safe to talk
out in the open. Let's go somewhere that's a little more secluded.

I did a lot things I wasn't proud of in the past...believe me.
I managed to put the past behind me so that I can live to see a better future.

Being a good leader isn't just about
giving orders. It's about knowing your team and being able to work with them,
in spite of their shortcomings. They are going to make mistakes, but as the
leader you have to see an opportunity to take that mistake, find a solution,
and bring things back on track.

Siracha

When it comes to bombs no one does them better than Siracha.
He's gotten his hands on everything from firecrackers to WMDs and he's always
looking for anything that goes boom. After Shish busted him out of jail, he
vowed to help him in any way he could, with what he knew best. His reason for
his imprisonment remains unknown; it may have something to do with his missing
ear.

Lines: Ha ha, we'll punch a hole through those walls
much quicker with these! I call them "The Siracha Special"

People say my passion will be the death of me one day, so I figure...if I'm gonna
go out, why not go out with a bang?

Wanna hold one of my grenades? Careful though, just one of these babies has
enough force to level an entire block. I
can juggle them if you like? I've gotten pretty good at it.

Alfredo

Alfredo is shish's weapons supplier. With his keen sight,
and dead accuracy, he's the kind of guy you want with his finger on the trigger,
perfect for Shish's little unit. With
his kind disposition and warm words you wouldn't believe that behind that mask
of his, was a cold blooded killer.

Lines: Hey, I bet
you anything I can hit that sign over there. Don't believe me? 5 bucks says I
can hit it twice in the same spot.

Hey boss, the new mini gun came in today. I'm thinking we
get the guys together and test her out, what do you say?

You're probably wondering why I only keep one bullet in the
chamber. Well, it only takes one shot to put somebody down. I'll reload when
they're dead.

Chik Pea

If you want something done fast, you call on the nimble 9
year old, resident ninja, Chik Pea. Due to her small size and light weight she
makes for the perfect escape artist. No one can get in and out of tight
situation better than Chik Pea, and it's why Shish has her on recon. Not much
is known about her other than she'd been living on the streets. She likes to
come and go and very rarely makes time for idle conversation.

Lines: There are
two of them, fast approaching.

I'm nine. Let's not make a big deal out of it.

Hey boss, I just stepped out for a moment. Don't ask me what
I did, just know it was done.

Commissioner Ruggles

Ruggles is the law. He takes his job seriously and makes it
his personal mission to keep the streets clear of crime, no matter how petty. His
name may be silly but to him, police work is no laughing matter. He's gotten
quite a name for himself, Red Dead Ruggles, for his "shoot first ask questions
never" attitude.

Lines: I am not
going to read you your rights or give you a chance to notify your lawyer. Scums
like you don't deserve civil liberties.

I usually say, "Tell it to the judge" but it'll probably be
pretty difficult saying anything with a bullet hole in your cheek. So how about
we shut up, do what the nice officer says, and take a little ride downtown huh?

I take my job very seriously. The law is the law and that should never come
into question. We are officers, sworn to protect and uphold the law. Sometimes,
you have to ask yourself, "Where do I draw the line?" and when you do, make
sure you never cross it.

Rif

Rif is a little bookworm. Everything he's ever come to know
has come out of a book. This is so true that none of it he has ever had the
luxury of experiencing first hand. The life in solitude has left him rather
detached and filled with anxiety. Lost and alone in a seemingly eternal void,
his only comfort has been his library of books that seem to just fall from the
sky.

Lines: Name? It's not that I haven't thought of one,
exactly. I've read that a "name" is
something given or earned, by a parent or an owner. I've been alone all my life
so I've never had to introduce myself.

I wish I had what it is you have with each other. Perhaps by
having "friends" you've been able to get through your hardships correct? Must
be nice....

Well.... I wish you the best of luck...I am not sure when next
we will meet, but I thank you for what little time we had. Guests! How exciting
that was. I will remember it forever.

Noir & Blanc

Noir and her twin brother Blanc are known as the terrible
two. Wherever these two go, trouble is sure to follow. Being of royal blood
they see themselves as elevated beings, looking down on any of those the view
as "commoners." They Answer directly to Aurora and carry out her every command
to the letter, no matter what.

Noir Lines: You speak of madness but
I believe you are the one who's gone
mad.

I've had just about enough! I think when I'm done with you
I'll put you on display, as my pet!

It touched me? Brother! It touched me! I...I can't believe
this...this..this filth! You know what, I've changed my mind. I'm not going to
make it my pet. No no, I'm going to kill it and make it into a puppet!

Blanc Lines: Now sis, do not be rude
to our guest. It has been so long since we've last spoken to her. Perhaps we
should try and be a little more courteous?

I am rather calm in situations like this, but my sister on
the other hand....let's just say she can be quite a handful under the right
conditions.

Now you've done it. My sister is upset and by default, I am
now terribly livid. So that I can at least enjoy what is about to happen.... I
think I will take my time.

Maestro

He is a masked man with a voice that rolls like thunder. A
connoisseur of music and a universal composer, the Maestro knows one thing and
one thing only. His music is said to be so powerful that it can alter the
stages of life and death. Playing only for Aurora, he hopes to one day perfect
a piece that could move even the goddess to tears.

Lines: Silence! Do you have any idea to whom you speak so
rudely? Adjust your tone, fool! How dare you interrupt me in the middle of my
finest piece yet, my ode to Aurora....

Ah yes, my queen. It is my gift to you. Please accept this
humble offer. May it express my deepest and sincerest gratitude, which mere
words could never convey.

Why do I conceal my face? Why do I hide behind this mask? It
is because true emotion cannot be shared by contortions of the flesh. No smile,
no tear, no reddening of the cheeks can hold a candle to the true emotion that
can only be expressed through my
music.

Mr. Keating

Mr. Darius Keating is Kay's father and famous astronomer.
He's spent most of his life searching the skies in hopes of connecting the
mysterious of the Aurora Borealis and the fabled goddess of creation. He hopes
desperately to share his work with his 17 year old son, but to no avail.

Lines: Hey son,
perhaps a little time away from school could be fun huh? I know you hate coming
along on these trips but maybe we could try to have some fun. It's worth a shot
right?

I have no problem with you taking up boxing son, but we
really don't have the time. We have strict schedules to keep and your mother
and I can't afford to stay in one place for too long. There is a whole world
out there we know nothing about.

Mrs. Keating

Victoria Keating can be considered to be the head of the
house hold. She does not take no for an answer and will stop at nothing to make
sure her family is running at full capacity. She never takes a moment to slow
down. Whether it's working alongside her husband or dealing with her rebellious
son Kay. Although she means well she can never seem to break through to him.

Lines: Kayleb
Keating! I told you we were leaving in 20 minutes. You haven't even brought
your bags downstairs yet! You have 5
minutes to have those bags downstairs and into your father's van. We will not
be late!

Now son, where we are going is a very important. They say
it's where man and Aurora first came into contact. Doesn't that sound
exciting?! I think you're father and I are finally one step closer to finally
unlocking the secrets of the universe!

Mr. Lallier

Marcel Lallier, a machinist and Dex's stern father. He wants
nothing more than to see his son become a success. He feels that a strong
academic background and a practical degree will do wonders for his son. Too bad
his son doesn't feel the same way.

Lines: Jeune homme, it is time we sat down and really discussed
your future. Are you still looking to be a computer scientist like we spoke?

You are throwing your life away, do you know that! On
some...some silly....how you call it...parlor trick. Don't you care about your
future?

Mrs. Lallier

Wynonna Lallier, Dex's mother and school
principal. She loves her son dearly and prays he would listen to his father a
take school more seriously. Being a principal and a mother has proven to be a
rule chore. She wants to support her son in his endeavors but still wishes to
uphold his academic integrity.

Lines: What is it
you see yourself doing in the future? I know you say entertainment, but it is a
very difficult field to be successful in. What if you break an arm, how will
you perform?

I can't entertain this right now. Have you spoken to your
father? What did he say you should do? I'm sure it isn't going to be as bad as
you are making it out to be. At least try it.

Din

A member of Dex's traveling performance group. He is an
acrobat who's found a rather interesting way to incorporate fire into his act. He's
terribly straight forward and is in a light competition with Dex to see who
truly is Baldavino's hottest new attraction, literally.

Lines: You better
keep on your toes Dex. When the spotlight shines on me, they aren't gonna want
to see anything else.

Baldavino says you got something pretty "special." I don't
see. How are a bunch of toys going to stack up to real talent, like mine?

Zumba

Zumba is another member of Dex's travel group and a
contortionist like no other. She's
squeezed into suitcases, crawl spaces, and even jewelry boxes. Hailing from the
Ziawahei tribe, her anatomical structure has baffled doctors for years and
astounded audiences for twice as long.

Lines: Hey, when we get to the next
place do you think we will get to try any exciting new food? I think you never
truly enjoy a place until you've eaten its food.

Don't mind Din, I am sure you will do just fine. Baldavino doesn't just pick
anyone you know. If he likes you, the crowd will love you. So just have fun!

Baldavino

This is the
Baldavino of Baldavino's circus. He's the master of ceremonies. Aboard his
private railway, he travels the globe hoping to find new and exciting talent to
add to his ever growing performances. With his jolly exposition and personality
many people have come to see him as more than an entertainer. Dex has looked up
to him as an idol.

Lines: Ladies and
Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, welcome once again to my amazing circus! We have new
acts planned for you this evening. They've come from the four corners of the
globe to perform just for you! Here they are, the Quartinas!

I hope to be remembered not only as an entertainer but as a
man who never stopped innovating. They say there is nothing new under the sun,
but I am determined to prove them wrong. With you three, I know I'll be one step
closer to achieving my ultimate goal.

Diesel

Diesel Atmadja, a cosmic architect and Sable's dearest
brother. He is very easy going and loves his sister's company more than
anything else. He sees her as his intellectual equal and hopes that one day she
will follow in his footsteps. Having
been raised under the British flag he speaks with a mild accent.

Lines: Hey there Red, you ready to see your big brother off on his
next big adventure? I'm sorry you can't come along but how about next time?
I'll even let you do the count down.

You don't have to try so hard you know. Growing up takes
time for a reason, one day you are going to look back on this and laugh. I know
I will, when I am old man, and I have you wheeling me around everywhere.

Geocrosse Players

(Striker)

Rocket

You have to fast to be a Striker, and that's Rockets whole
game. The faster he is, the more points he can score, and the more
championships he can take home. He knows that without him the team is
incomplete, but maybe he could tone it down some.

Lines: Guys, just
give me the ball and I'll make sure it gets where it needs to go.

Listen guys, it's no big deal. I'll take it easy, let a few
slip by, take a fall , and when it looks like it's all over, I'll turn on the
igniter. Boom, blast off.

(Mid Field)

Shanticlaire

Shanticlaire ranks in the top 10 best athletes of geocrosse.
More of a pretty boy, he's in this sport not for the action on the field, but
off the field. He loves nothing more than spending some quality time with his
fans.

Lines: Ladies,
ladies, no need to fight. I'll be back at half time. Why don't you cheer for me
real loud? The one who screams the loudest gets an extra minute with Shanti.

Look, I don't know who told you but Shanti never turns down
a fan request. I'll sign almost anything....almost
anything. A man has to have his limits.

Uri

Uri is part of a tag team tornado known on the field as the
Blitz Bros. When he and his brother Lucius take the field they are a force to
be reckoned with.

Lines: Hey bro,
you ready to show em what we're made of?

My bro and I are like a team all our own. Sure, Shanti is a
great mid, but we redefine what it means to be a mid. There's a dynamic here
that's unheard of.

Lucius

Lucius is Uri's older brother and the Blitz behind the Blitz
Bros. Lucius is a strong team player and always works to get the best out of
his team, especially his little brother Uri.

Lines: You know
it bro! Let's show em why they call us the Blitz Bros.

We really owned it out there! We keep this up in the next
half and we'll take this to the championships!

(Defenders)

Vaychel

Vaychel is hands down the toughest chick in Geocrosse. No
matter how big, nothing gets past her. She can take it a hit and give it right
back tenfold. Having her on defense means there's no chance in hell you're
going to score.

Line: Boom! You
want some more huh? I'll be here all day twinkle toes. Vay-chel, don't forget
it!

They think girls can't play this sport? Tch, they clearly
haven't run into me. Sure, I could have been a striker, or a mid, but I chose
defense. Know why? So I can wail on chumps that talk smack.

Ryce

When you think of Ryce, one word comes to mind. Run. Ryce
was always known to have a violent streak. He's put more players off the field
than he can count, if he could count. He's not the brightest player but call
him out on it, and you are in for a world of hurt.

Lines: Oh , oh ,
oh?! You wanna score? Is that what you want? Just try it! I dare you! I'll
break ya freaking legs!

This sport isn't for babies. Ryce ain't no baby. Babies cry, and can't play
sports. Ryce can't stand babies!

Goalie

Gale

Gale's the reason any Geocrosse Team can live to see that
turnaround victory. With a brain like a computer, Gale can calculate where the
ball will be at any time , making his defense almost unbreakable.

lines: If you want to score you have to hope I don't see it coming, because if I do, it's going right back where it
came.

I want you to take a guess at how many shots on me the other
teams have taken. No clue? 3-5-7, three hundred and fifty seven shots. You want
to know how many have gotten past? Take a wild guess.
