is story really important in a game ?
is a game better with linear gameplay or non-linear gameplay?
can procedurally generated levels look as good as handmade levels ?
what is the best controller for gaming ; keyboard and mouse, console controller or motion controller ?
can having a difficulty setting in a game's options ruin the gameplay experience ?
what makes a game truly scary ; monsters/environment visuals, permadeath, tough enemies or immersion ?

hell, even asking funny questions from time to time would be nice

Guns, melee or magic ?
graphics or story ?
female protagonist or male protagonist ?
serious and dramatic or light and humorous ?
cold or hot color palette ?
