Searching for a 'map conquest' game Thread

Hello there! I'm looking for a game in which you have to expand through a map, taking advantage of terrain conquered (eg. you capture a field, now you produce more wheat). I don't want a game similar to Lords Mobile, where you just have a castle and attack other players in a map; I'm looking for an 'expand your zone' concept.

I already know and love Polytopia, but perhaps I'd prefer something more competitive -games to last a bit longer... Not as long as in Subterfuge (another great one), though!
