Hi everyone, new here,

I want to embed links to imgur in a blog post, but the only that seems to almost work is to post "source code" using the HTML code that imgur provides.
But then i get an error saying that Imgur refuses the connection.

So what's the best way to post gifs that are more than 4mb in size?

Cheers and thanks!

in a [ code ] tag, can you please share the code you are attempting to post? Is this basically it:

<blockquote class="imgur-embed-pub" lang="en" data-id="xeR8YX9"><a href="//imgur.com/xeR8YX9">*Engine revving noise</a></blockquote><script async src="//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Not sure I put this the right way, I think you provided code for a regular link there, right? I want the gif to display on the blog page, might have phrased that incorrectly.

So this is the HTML code I'm given by Imgur:

<iframe class="imgur-embed" width="100%" height="600" frameborder="0" src="https://i.imgur.com/QDnRkrL.gifv#embed"></iframe>

Yeah so imgur blocks iframes - i'm surprized they would give you that code as it wont work. What is the link to the image on imgur, i'll take a look.
