Hey there,

I've deleted the mod profile from public view and can be recovered in the future if you change your mind. However if you'd like the profile and all related content permanently deleted please let me know.

But why not allow ppl delete their own stuff? I mean even if a hacker gets control of an account and ask you to delete all, you'd still do it so what's the point?

Users can archive their own profiles, to show if a mod or game is no longer being worked on. And they can delete their own content too, so it is no longer viewable, such as images, articles and files.

We permanently delete profiles for users and act as a final step to check if a user asks us to delete their profiles, to check that they are sure and or investigate suspicious requests, that you've referred too. It's not a perfect system, but we find it works for us and has for a long time. However we'll keep your comment in mind in the future for any changes we make to the sites.
