[coder] [unpaid] For prototyping new concepts Thread

Hello all,

I am a designer with several projects I would like to take into prototyping and am wondering what kind of costs I am likely to incur for a programmer to perform said task. I understand prototyping to be about a 40 to 80 hour job, am I way off base?

I am putting together a preliminary budget for 3 prototypes and would appreciate any advice, suggestions, estimates from people in the know Thanks for your eye balls, take care.
