Can music manipulate the gamer? Thread

I have written an article which investigates if music can manipulate the player.

Here is the Abstract(tl;dr)

The question that is being investigated is the question that music, singularly, can manipulate the player. As will be presented is that assets in a game can manipulate the gamers, color is one example of that. According to sources, color can affect the player mentally to feel certain things. But can music do the same, can music manipulate the players subconscious? The answer in this article is, no, but music releases feelings and there is a connection between music and areas in the brain. Although that the answer was that music cannot alone manipulate the gamer, but it is an important ingredient in the recipe. If you leave music out, feelings may not be triggered as you would have expected.
