Description

This video shows some Features of our 3D Game Engine Rayne and especially our new Editor Downpour in action!
The video is playing with twice its original speed to make it more interesting to watch, also video recording hurt performance quite a bit, so some things turned out to be more clumsy than they would usually be.

Downpour is a module that can be attached to a game and not a stand alone editor. It can then be toggled on and off at runtime. So far it supports spawning new objects and changing their settings, applying transformations with a gizmo and saving and loading. We are currently especially working on the possibility to change and modify models and materials (including textures) of the level objects.
All properties are directly queried from the games classes making it possible to add properties to your own scene node subclasses and more which will then show up automatically in Downpour.
We are working on Downpour for less than two weeks and it is open source on Github: Github.com
