Skybolt Zack is a fast-paced arcade game! It's a platformer which combat mechanism is inspired by rhythm games. The crazy child of Sonic and Guitar Hero, except you go after the notes to punch them in the face!!

** Instal **
Unzip the archive then start de .exe file. It has to be in the same folder than the data folder with the same name.
** Controls **
Best played with a gamepad. Xbox360, Xbox One, PS4, Joycons or arcade stick works natively. Keyboard works as well.
If you encounter issues with other kinds of gamepad, please use a plugin such as Xpadder and link your keyboard to your gamepad.
You can change the lock type and the color of the enemies to match your controller in the option menu > Lock Type
** Tips **
The music changes with the "Chain" the player does by destroying enemies. New themes will play when the Chain reaches 10, 20 and 30.
If the Chain Meter get empty, the Chain falls to 0.
You can Dash mid-air, and after every attack that connects.
Focus Attack slows down Zack in the air.
Levels are divided into several paths. The upper ones are more difficult to reach and to complete, but will give you a higher score.
To score higher, here are a few more tips :
-Clear the level as fast as possible.
-Get the highest Chain and never break it (the Meter must not go empty)
-Every attack that hit an enemy from a different color than the previous one will give you a Color Change bonus of 500 points.
-Clearing the level without getting hit will give you a 5000 points bonus ; not making any "Wrong color" gives 2500 points as well.
For advanced players :
-Try to get a Full Combo as high as possible. The combo is indicated by a number "x2, x3, x4..." after you destry an enemy and is symbolized by the lengh
of Zack's trail.
The combo multiply the points you get for destrying an enemy. It will fall back to x1 if :
Zack gets hit and loose HP
You get a Wrong Color
You break the Chain
Zack touches the ground for more than a split second. It is possible to clear the levels without ever touching the ground after hitting the 1st enemy!
