Is source code available? I'd like to build this for Linux and give it a go.
Oops silly me, I didn't see the link to the macOS/Linux installers.
For further reference: The MacOS/Linux downloads are hidden by default within the extended description, but they are available.

Linux users should download and execute the AppImage download.
Guess next time we will put the instructions on the image.
How to use the files served on github ?
I tried to move them into /usr/lib/openra/mods/sp/
but unable to launch the game using those files
Ouch, this isnt exactly my area.
The installers are standalone, the file I uploaded is the installer for Windows, if you read the description or Graions Comment you can find the others for linux and mac, if you want to do a manual compilation, you would better head here.

The faq file I put in the description also mentions which engine build and mod version to get to make sure your version is compatible with the servers, that will allow you access to the servers. (playing on different versions causes a desync)
If you have a specific problem, you would have to provide more information.
Because the AppImage is a binary. You don't have to move it anywhere, just run it and it'll set it up itself - I'm assuming this is Linux. Also see Github.com
