Seriously though, sweet!
This is seriously becoming the best zombie survival game i have ever played it really gets the adrenaline going when an alarm goes off nearby and the sheer amount of zombies that follow.

can anyone help me i keep getting an error when loading characters texture pack:

Are you sure you using the correct version of Java ? (x32/x64) or is it up to date ? That's a common bug you got here, for more info just visit the forum ! ;)

what java version do you need for PC then? because i bought the game but don't have the right java for it, so right now the game is just sitting their on my desktop. I haven't played it once yet

hey that error is caused because of graphic card issues try updating your drivers if that douse not work disconnect your internet and then try playing. If neither work you may have to get a new graphics card

Yeah, but when I just download and extract the file the loading screen is really weird.

this is a "public test build" so it's not an official release, I'm assuming they didn't release it on desura, because i can't install this latest version on desura either.
if the download page crashes, it's probably the traffic. apparently there's a lot of people trying to get this right now.

I've never updated the game before (I'm a total computer noob, don't know how to do anything), how do I install the update, is it as simple as dragging the file into the Project Zomboid folder?
When my download is 85% it stops and says that its not found on server (FDM)
Use another browser or your internet connection is bad (i dont know your speed) or the server is sometimes have errors?
why don't you put it on steam greenlight ?

If you download the demo , like I did, from another site you might have to edit the batch file to remove the old jre6 for the new jre7.
