This is the full release of my Penumbra: Overture texture upscale mod. See description for instructions and changelog.
This mod includes upscaled textures for Penumbra: Overture. All environmental, model, and item textures have been upscaled. Upscaling significantly increases the size of the textures and as a result makes them consume more memory. At least 3GB of video memory is recommended to use this mod on the base game without stuttering.
No additional modifications to game files are needed.
1: Open \Penumbra Overture\redist\ and back up the contents of\config, \models and \textures
2: Extract the contents of this archive to your Penumbra Overture\redist folder, and overwrite the original textures when asked
3: Play the game and enjoy

Known Issues:
Very occasionally some models or skyboxes will load fully white, or fully black after a level transition. This isn't a problem with the mod, but a limitation of the game engine. If it happens save the game, quit, then reload it and things will load as normal.

Hi, Im having a problem. After leaving the ship all the snow is yellow and the skybox dark grey. I managed to break the ice without seeing anything and I got into the cave. Everything seemed fine, I opened the hatch to go to the next area and when I loaded in everything was pretty much pitch dark, the flashlight didnt work nor the glowstick. They just had a weird halo around them.
Yeah i'm having the same problem, the same problem is happening with penumbra black plague when you enter the dream and hear Clarence voice, hopefully sk8er_boi6000 the creator sees these comments and address the issue.
I'm encountering the same glitch. Everything is bright yellow and the game is unplayable because of it.
