This is a Beta Version of Pax Americana. I hope you enjoy it, please provide feedback, your opinion and any criticism to help with development. If you would like to help with the mod either with contributing or joining the Dev team send me a PM and we can sort things out.
I'd just like to give a big thanks to the newest addition to the Pax Americana team, Madog117. He'll be helping out on several tasks that you'll see in the upcoming versions of Pax.
This patch is mean't to addresses most of the issues with v 0.92 and has some extra content that was meant to be released with v1.0.
Prior to installing if you have a older version of Pax Americana go to your documents/paradox interactive/hearts of iron III/pax americana folder.
Delete the Graphics,Logs and Map folder.
To Install the mod:
1) Extract the ZIP to you HOI3/tfh/mod/ folder
2) Run the Hearts Of Iron 3 launcher, check mark Pax Americana and launch the game
Note: This mod and many HOI3 mods do not work on MAC unless ran on a VM running Windows.
If you don't have Podcat's TFH.exe, please download it here Drive.google.com It's a modifier hoi3_tfh.exe that allows the game to use more RAM. The mod won't run without it as it exceeds the ~2GB limit of the vanilla EXE. Just replace the old hoi3_tfh.exe, it wont cause any issues with the vanilla game or other mods.

- Updated Saudi Ministers & oob
- New unit Lightly Armoured Infantry to represent IFV's (Stryker IFV) compared to mechanized infantry using APC's (M2 Bradley). They'll have the firepower & supply/fuel consumption of an APC but the defense of a motorized division or worse.
- 95% of techs have been localized.
- Updating Iran's OOB, the YAMDAM one is as accurate as it will get, the one in the game is the same as Wikipedias info. Updating unit models tho.

- Forest Equipment' tech has a difficulty of 20 while all the other equipment tech have 10 - Fixed
- believe personally that much of the future tech (like railguns, adaptive camo, the nano-something armor) should be pushed into the future a bit more. - Pushed to 2019 for now.
- Artillery gun tech added
- Missile tech in the bomber tab currently doesn't unlock any units but the warhead and propulsion tech do provide upgrades. - removed
- Infantry AA and Light/Heavy AT are able to be built without their respective tech to unlock them. - Fixed
- Sea provinces in the Black Sea and Mediterranean (I didn't notice any other areas) have strange names that seem to be Arabic-named. Maybe some province ID conflicts going on there. - Fixed
- Around 90% of the world's countries drift heavily towards China "due to relations" although I hadn't seen any countries actually join them - Was resolved when ISIS joining NATO was fixed
- Anti Tank Ordinance' tech is difficulty 9 while the rest of the Art., AA, AT tech are all difficulty 2. - adjusted
- The anti tank tech in the modern tab don't provide any upgrades to the heavy AT battalion. - Fixed
- (Personal suggestion) Artillery probably should have it's own separate "High Velocity Gun" tech so it can upgrade. Currently being tied to the same tech as the tank guns, and not allowing tanks to upgrade means artillery can't either. - Added a Arty Gun tech
- The 'Guided Missile Upgrade' tech for small ships has requirements that can't be met. The electronic tech 'Passive Radar,' 'Active Electric Radar,' 'Guidance Systems,' 'Networking,' and 'GPS' in particular are required to be like level 2 or 3 or 4 when they can only be researched to level 1. - Fixed
- Updated NATO to 2015 status
- Added in the EU, EU members all have a EU core in their capital. If a EU member declares war on another EU member the war will end immediately.
- Madog117 has done some localization
- New events for Turkey & Iran
- Players can declare war on ISIS in March of 2016, this is temporary
It's not working for me, i dropped both filed in MOD folder, but game did not recognized it, then i tried to drop all files that is in mod, into game, it kinda worked, but Map is mixed, i mean the colors are mixed and regions are also incorrectly placed, so can you please tell me is that my mistake? or just my version of HOI3 is bad?
Your vanilla hoi3 should have a checksum of GSKH.If it isn't your base game is corrupted.
To install the mod place the Pax Americana folder and the Pax Americana.mod in hoi3/tfh/mod.
Then run launcher.exe and check mark Pax Americana and click run/play.
so why do some of the country s have no Goverment pep or able to change bettwen the pep there? and also there are too few leaders for Army, Navy and Airforce part. I understand the mod is taking so mtuch time, from the Life beyond this.. but try to fix issue. you can easliy check via google about diffrent goverment how they was 2015 and now 2016.other than that I lie the mod you have :)
I'm glad you enjoy the mod but this "simple" task is by far not simple. If you want 1 party with all 8 ministers for all 210 countries that's 1680 minister names, pictures and traits to add. Is it simple now? Or if you want 2 or 3 parties per country times that by 2 or 3 and you see how much work it is.
Is it still simple?
Either way we aren't making a full party for every country. For minor nations they will just get their head of states, secondaries will get their main party and majors as many parties as we can research.
I'm sick of playing regular mod, which lack of countries, so I really wanna install this one correctly and enjoy it :c

Hopefully by the end of may. This is a hobby so some days I mod for 3 hours some for none, I have a life to :)
Right now madog is working on a lot of different stuff, alot with Europe. So whenever 1.0 does come out it will already have a a decent ammount of stuff that was scheduled to be released after 1.0.
You can already see some stuff I've made for after 1.0 like the start of the EU system and updating NATO.
He's focusing on Europe while i finish up the final touches on the middle East.

I have another little technical question. When I open the menu (diplomacy, production,etc...) the text appears directly on top of the map, there is no background, so is it a bug or was it intended to be that way ?
And I noticed that the first loading screen takes quite some time, is it normal ?
But anyway, keep up the great work, cause I'm tired to play with the same nations all over again !
This is a great mod, but I have a small problem...
It shouldn't be top priority as the mod is still playable but it is a major annoyance, basically when I enter the production/technology screen the actual menu is stretched out of the bounds of my window. The game is still somewhat playable but I can hardly create units and technology Is extremely hard to manage.

Sorry to say but there is nothing we can do here. You either need to increase the resolution in game or buy a new monitor.
The techscreen is around 1400 * 700 pixels so if your monitor's resolution is smaller than that, nothing we can do here. You can get a cheap 1080p monitor for probablly less than $100 or even a 1440*900 monitor from kijiji or something for next to nothing.

I did everything as stated, the mod still doesn't work for some reason.
I can't tell why. Anything I might've missed?
1) Make sure the mod is installed in hoi3/tfh/mod not hoi3/mod
2) Make sure your vanilla game's check sum is GSKH
3) This mod doesnt work on MAC's nor do many large HOI3 mods
4) Try podcats exe, it allows the exe to use more ram. You can download it here Forum.paradoxplaza.com Just replace your old hoi3_tfh.exe
5) Do you have the 3 main expansions? Their finest hour, Semper FI & for the motherland?
I have done every step except LAA, but even so, the game doesn't crash, it doesn't even attempt to load the mod up, it just loads vanilla.
So when you use the launcher.exe do you see Pax Americana 0.94? When you double check it and click play it loads vanilla?

Well it sounds like #1 is your issue but if youve done that and all the steps I mentioned above I have no idea what to tell you.
Try reinstalling hoi3? I don't know your the first person who we haven't been able to help.
Edit: Try clearing your cache?
Edit 2: Actually we also had this issue with our git respitory when we were setting it up. Madog had permission issues, maybe he can explain more.
So how do I fix it then?
Because I did everything as stated.

Yes your base game could be corrupt or you have another mod make sure you get podcasts.exe also so HOI3 can run at full ram

I was wondering if any one can fix my problem?
The mod is good and every thing but when i go to Technology and occasionally other menus like diplomacy and production it quits out the game and stops working.

I recently downloaded HOI3 from steam and i cant find any mod folder. I do have the expansions but the tfh folder is nowhere to be found???? Can u help me?
