Welcome player! Morgenstern moves to a new stage of its development! This sub-modification was created for the Economic Crisis 2013 mod. It should be explained that no matter how developers strive, and however their ambitions are grandiose, they are quite far behind in creating flag images, and therefore our mod volunteered to help them.
+ The submod is focused on quality, which means you will no longer see the decorated or written something, created by no means without the participation of psychotropic substances.
+ Recreated all the flags of all countries that are in the original mod, worked out literally every pixel, often had to draw everything from scratch.
+ Maximum emphasis on historicity.
+ Alternative flags of countries are selected in the best accordance with their historical counterparts, you will not be familiar with the same sickles and hammers, which are actually taken from the emblem of the Chinese Communist Party, or fascia, which are inserted almost in all half of the countries with the new fascist regime.

"I saw you have the flags of other authors, is this not considered theft?"
No, it does not count. Other people tried their best, I just borrowed their product, which is freely distributed on the Internet, adapted for the game and brought their creations to mind, I do not pass off other people's intellectual property as mine and do not sell it, so why not?
“I don't like some flags, could you change them?”
I could not. My opinion is completely objective, flags and names were created according to historical images, they should fit not only into the surroundings of the game, but also directly into the events of the beginning of the XXI century. When it comes to alternative history and where you have to think up everything, everything tries to be similar, if not to historical similarity, then precisely to that approximated.
“Morgenstern is not only flags, but also updated names are built in, the question is: will the names of states be changed in this submod?”
The likelihood of a scenario in which Morgenstern brings new names for parties and countries is high, because in the original mod some of them are already implemented, which means the atmosphere of the game will only increase it.
“Does Morgenstern change anything other than flags?”
The mod interacts not only with the "gfx" folder, which is in the game files, but also with the localization files in the "localization" folder.
“Can I use flags from the mod for my own purposes?”
Of course. Since many flags were honestly copied from various resources and I do not have full authorship of some, you have every right to freely distribute and share all these files, but if you use these flags separately in other projects, it is advisable to indicate my authorship or provide link to the Steam Morgenstern mod page.
