PC elitism is so ******* stupid. If you honestly think that some one is lesser than you (and wow you are so cool, calling them things) that you are somehow higher, because of a piece of technology, than you have to step back and **** off.
I don't even use consoles and I can realize how god damned stupid this is.
Not our fault pc gamers are the master race, we were born that way, show some tolerance.

Because people who are not used to Keyboard + Mouse, but come from XBOX 360 Minecraft may find it easier to use a controller.
Respectfully, why do people always ask this question? On every pc forum for every pc game where a question about controller use comes up, so does a post(s) like this. What difference does it make to someone if someone else wants to use a controller? It's not like the person has never tried the game with a KBM since the ratio of KBM to computers is pretty much 1:1. So stating the the KBM is better is not reveling some secret new way to play the game. The person must have a reason to want to use the controller. The conflict over KBM/Controller reminds me of the old pc vs mac posts from the late 90s.
I'm playing my games on PC for years now. Though, 75% of the games I play, I play with controller. It's more precise in many games (ok minecraft may not be one of those) And even if it isn't the matter, for me it's much more fun to lean back and play with controller.

Controllers ARE inferior. Thats why they do not allow keyboard and mouse on consoles, because that would give anyone using that a massive advantage.
However, this might be a good thing for people who have living-room PCs hooked up to their TVs.

Actually, they do allow keyboard and mouse on some ps3 titles, but I wouldnt bother using a ps3 anyway
Do you remember the PS1? Do you remember how there were games that, while you could use the controller if you wanted to, they were designed to be played using a mouse/keyboard?
Just to wade in here, I almost always play with a mouse and keyboard, but sometimes I like to relax in my chair and mix it up a bit.

while PCs are supirior for having moddable controls, lots of custom content, freeware, the ability to edit core files, the ability to sort out multimedia, the ability to change the background, loading screen, themes and more through the control panel, the ability to even be portable via laptops, the ability to play most games on the market now
I could go on and on and on. but, through all that, don't forget, xboxes do have an advantage.
a small selection of Xbox-exclusive games! and DRM! and get this. you get to pay for this content with a live account. you have to keep paying them FOREVER! doesn't that sound so much cooler???

you forgot to mention that pc is what was used to make those "Xbox-exclusive" games.
Ummm... I would like to point out that the Xbox pretty much IS a PC, but with an Xbox OS and other things.
I've seen no Xbox fans, just me and some other guy thinking that PC elitism is dumb. I haven't even used one in three years.
