Guys, use your heads. Its a .exe file which means that you dont have to throw it here there and everywhere just download and double click on it and OMG!!! you now can set a big *** battle.
but what if you have steam version
If you have the steam version you go to c/programs(86x)/steam/steamapps/common and there you look for mount and blade warband then make a new folder in modules (name doesnt matter just for you to know what mod it is) and into this new folder you paste all files you downloaded :) thats it have fun mates
ok for future refrence of most mods:
unzip the folder into a temp or a safe folder.
then cut and paste the mod to the modules folder inside the M&B folder.
IDK about steam

Sigh.Well...it is an exe file. If you cant open it just rename the file adding .exe at the end. Thats how it worked for me.Great game by the way.
Just curious, I bought this game through steam, so a "directory" folder does not appear for some reason. Anyone know where I can find it? Thanks
Just download it in any directory and then double click on it and set from 1 to 1000 then save and then enter the game....U dont better set 1000 or like that the game will 80% crash

be sure the BattleSizer.exe is in your m&b main directory, in my case it creates a "mount and blade" folder inside my "mount and blade" folder
Okay listen up here.
I once formated my pc wrong. Windows created a folder named "Windows.old" for all my programs, including Steam. Steam has functioned proper and without problems (the other programs didn't work at all). I have downloaded mods before to Mount and Blade. I just copied the files into "modules" folder. Now this is an exe. It keeps on saying that Mount and Blade installation Directory could not be located, and that i should check the path is correct (the program is installed in my mount and blade folder). How the hell do you fix this??

hay guys when i try to chang the battle size it says the option dat file could not be located be sure you have run m&b at least once befor running this tool if your running m&b older tht 0.800 make sure this progran us ub your m&b directory before running it the program will now exit so can someone help me with dis?
DONT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, AVG FREE 9.0.800 DETECTED 2 TROJAN HORSE VIRUSES IN THIS MOD!!! SCAN WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN.
SAME problem.
Have had it for a while, now AVG saying its a virus.
I think AVG is wrong, and giving a false positive.
THIS IS AN ISSUE, any one have ideas how to fix?

I suggest adding this file to AVG Resident Shield exclude list.

@xsweetoxx: If you have steam and locate the steam directory make sure the final .exe is in the main directory. For me it put it in a folder named Mount&Blade inside the main directory, just copy and paste it to the main directory.

IF U DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL LISTEN!! (STEAM VERSION)
1 Install it at desktop, u will see a folder thats named Mount&Blade.
2 Open it and take out BattleSizer.
3 Go too where u go to your steam folder Steam/steamapps/common/mount and blade.
4 Drop the BattleSizer in the mount and blade folder.
5 Start BatteSizer,choose your battle size then start the game! :)

It doesn't work. Like, at all. Whenever I try to open it, an error just pops up. Help please, considering for some reason there are no other mods like this for this damned game.
If you are having trouble with this file, use the one on nexus mods. Worked for me.

It would be useful for Linux too.
But nvm, I solved it with wine.
Problem is I get errors, like "No options.dat" OR "options.dat doesnt match with known filesize", after creating a fake options.dat
