I did this mod mostly because I liked the new portraits ck2 introduced lately and grew to dislike the previous ones, as they don't blend in very well.
Also, my native language is portuguese and it've always bothered me that Portuguese, Castillan and Catalan cultures are not in the "Latin" culture group on the vanilla game.
You should have all the Graphical/Portrait DLC's to use this mod properly. This mod probably doesn't require any specific CK2 version to work, but my version of the game is 3.3.3, the latest version. This mod is only in english.
1- Latin iberian cultures are of "Latin" culture group now, and not "Iberian". Visigoths are "Continental Germanic".
2- South Europeans portraits are all using the "South Slavic" gfx. But the cultural garments remain as in vanilla.
3- The other europeans are using the new "Frankish" gfx. But the cultural garments remain as in vanilla.
4- Germanic cultures groups are now "North Germanic", "Continental Germanic" and "Insular Germanic".
5- New celtic culture "Cornish", with its duo change in history files as well, dynasty names, and so on.
6- Northern europeans are blondier.
7- Persians and andalusians also use the "South Slavic" gfx. But they are using the "muslim" gfx for hair and beard and the cultural garments remain as in vanilla.
8- The Abbasids in power at the game start and after are of "Levantine" culture.
9- The Umayad rulers of iberia are of "Andalusian" culture.
8- Northern indians portraits use the new "muslim" gfx. But hair, beard and the cultural garments remain as in vanilla.
9- North eastern indians are using the "bodpa" gfx. But with indians units on map.
10- History of Arabian empire up to Muhammad. So, all Califas and Muhammad are in the history of said empire as rulers.
11- Altaic nomads are using the "chinese" gfx. But hair, beard and the cultural garments remain as in vanilla. A few may also have brown hair.
12- I used all custom christian Coat of Arms at the 769 start.
13- The 769 start has fictional characters and backgrounds, and some historical ones. For example: There is a levantine jew count in the land of Israel, as a "Peasant Leader". King Desiderius of Lombardy has "Sassanid Blood" and a very good heir, his grandson. The Nibelung Dynasty are descendents of the Burgundian Kings, which are now in the history files.
14- Changed a few "cultural colors". Byzantines are shades of blue, latins are shades of red. There was an african culture painted purple and now is yellow. Syrians are greenish. English red is not as red anymore, it's grayish red.
