Sure, there are problems, some scripts are weird, a few textures are of the wrong color ect... but overall the game is balanced, the scripts fit the mecha for the best, and the textures, pilots, sfx, bgm,maps, roots, are all new!
When i first thought about making this mod, i didn't know how it was going to turn out, i got inspired by the arcade game, then i started ripping some textures here and there, and before i knew it, i was re theming the whole game into ExVS... basically, i didn't expect the quality to be the way it's now, i was planing on releasing a small but fun mod,but a few modders got interested, and i started to receive help here and there. That's how all the scripts, maps and the overall mod became what they are today.
We could say that this is a mod made "by fans for the fans", but it wouldn't be quite true...it's rather a mod made by modders, for everyone to enjoy.

mod requirements:
- Win7 (for a standalone play, otherwise you need the original game patched with the PUK)
- at least 2Gb of ram
- a dual core of any kind
- a 128mb video card (the best, the better, yes the engine is badly optimized)
- a keyboard (if possible get a controller, usb xbox360 ...?)

Watch out with the video card, the game is heavy with 3d, if you want to play lag-less, get the best PC you can, unless you want to play with a 800x600 res, with no shadows and no Hdr and still get a few lag here and there...

note, if you download in the "moddb sever" option, you will only download the registery files to get the game to play as a standalone for win 7

when i download part one it gives me an unexpected end of file error
I've got the game up and running, the only problem is that there is no sound. I installed following the directions in the video you posted and am using windows 7.
Edit: nvm, sound was turned all the way down in the config by default for some reason.

guys, i think i have a problem, when i played this game on my pc winXP i have 50 mechas, but when i played it in my netbook win7 i only get 21 mechas, what's the problem?
