Description
This program was created over the past 8 months by me, a hobbyist developer and game enthusiast. I hope that you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it. It represents a work in progress, and does not reflect the state of the final game. Press F1 to see the list of free assets and examples I used to build this program. The total cost of developing this game was $25 (the price of Game Maker Pro). Everything else was made using open-source, creative commons, or free software.

This is awesome, you did a great job. The mouse controlled aiming goes well with the metroid style platforming.
Thanks! Yeah I was kind of surprised at how well it went together. I definitely prefer keyboard+mouse over keyboard only. But future releases will probably have support for options like that, because I know some people like it.
