Hi I have a problem with this custom story. Im having troubles going back to the main hall after i get the key in the closet in the area where one of the monster is sleeping in the bed and wakes up after you pick up the key. Everytime i try going back to the main hall the game crashes. This is after I done this patch. All my custom stories including full conversion custom stories never do this
What does it say when it crashes?
It saids amnesia has stopped working
Huh, try going to your documents folder, then find the folder labeled Amnesia and there will be another folder in there called "Dreadscape Main". In that folder you'll find a file called hpl.log. It should tell you what's wrong, if not then I'm sorry but I have no idea.
Okay. Is the area door icon from amnesia rebirth? because it looks different from the other custom stories I played
Yeah it is from Rebirth, all of the new icons are from Rebirth. I just like the style of them.
Did you add that before or after the patch update?
I added it when I was in the middle of working on the patch.
Did you debug it?
I mean, I don't think I'd have to. I just opened up the original file in GIMP and replaced the old icons with the new. Plus if it were a problem with the icons I feel like it would happen to me or my play tester.
Yea. It could be because dark descent not used to the new stuff from amnesia rebirth. Has there been custom stories adding stuff like the lantern and matches from rebirth
Some one added the Ghoul from Rebirth into TDD. I didn't add the actual files from Rebirth to the mod, I just edited the original ones from TDD.
Did you have to do Javascript coding?
No I didn't, just level coding.

I do, I'm working on one right now actually.
What is the custom story you are working on?
I'm not gonna say anything about it, I don't know if I'll ever get tired of making it so I don't want to say anything that isn't concrete.
