Age of Firepower takes Prophesy of Pendor and adds on to it with new troops, an expansion to the troop trees, and the addition of firearms.
Installation:
Unzip and drag the files over into your Prophesy of Pendor 3.9 folder. It will likely not work with 3.9.1 or the upcoming 3.9.2.
Features:
Firearms have been proliferated throughout Pendor. Archers and crossbowmen from the three modern kingdoms have rearmed themselves with pistols, muskets, arquebusses and blunderbusses. Sale of firearms to outsiders is strictly moderated by all the kingdoms, but there is a man unbound by such legislation. He lives in Poinsbruk, and has a fair few in his supply, due in part to his profession.
The D'Shar have taken to riding elephants, a cultural import from the Singalians. Hardy, cold-resistant pygmy elephants have also been discovered among the peaks of the Mystmountains and have managed to make their way into the hands of the Vanskerry. The Empire too has bred specialized pygmy elephants which it assigns to its gladiators. A priestly traveler from the desert brings his elephants with him to carry his books, and he may have quite a few he'd be willing to sell.
Ravenstern migrants to the south have found employment in the armies of Sarleon. By order of King Ulric, these men are to be trained and equipped following the method of the Snowlion Brigade. Sarleon noblemen have taken to adopting the ways of the Snowlion Brigade as well, in an attempt to further legitimize their claims to Ravenstern clay.
The days of the Noldor are over. A force lead by the Ebony Gauntlet managed to find Elacrai, and the blood shed on that day flew a river down to Laria. The Noldor sailed off, far across the ocean, to live with their brethren, the Solosimpi sea elves. Some say a sizable number of Noldor still live in the woods, hiding. The Jatu and the Ebony Gauntlet believe these stories, and occasionally come across a wandering refugee or a hermit Noldor. But no longer do men fear the woods of Laria.
A massive force of Vanskerry managed to drive the inhabitants of Ravenstern away from the lake. They found that Ravenstern sits further north than expected. The Vanskerry now hold a small, neutral camp by Orin, which raiding parties from the lake are said to stop at from time to time. Some say the Vanskerry were hired by Duke Brennus of Avendor to take over the city of Ravenstern. It would explain why the inhabitants of Orin proclaimed themselves in the protection of Sarleon.
Barclay scribes have updated their maps and charts of Pendor. The bridges in Pendor all have names, and there are a few places in Pendor few have seen yet many know of. The Serpent's City, a ruined city the Snake Cult is said to inhabit, and Holy Mountain Cathedral, the base of the Inquisition. A new trend has also arrived in Barclay mapmaking: all cities are prefixed by The City of.
Alaric von Brouhaha was found dead in a tavern outside Marleons. His brother, Alaric von Eisenblut, took up his cause. The Black Boot of Eisenblut now roams Sarleon in search of noblemen to kill. Better armed and better managed, these former soldiers are prepared to follow the apocalyptic message of Eisenblut.
Heretics and Snake Cultists alike have begun to prey on petty Town Thugs.
Known Errors:
Some taverns utilized the tutorial weapons as decorative pieces. These will now show up as all manner of things, mostly elephants though.
Expanded and Improved Edition:
The Expanded and Improved Edition is an alternate version of this, with a bulkier filesize, but more sensible, thematically consistent features, such as Giant Wolves instead of Northerner Pygmy Elephants. To receive the Expanded and Improved Edition you will have to contact me personally. Expanded and Improved Edition isn't uploaded here due to unresolved permissions when it comes to resources.

This seems interesting enough , can't wait until it will be compatible with 3.9.1
I think that when I get to work on a 3.9.1 or 3.9.2 version, it will likely be distinct enough that I'll release it under a different name. I'll probably head in a different direction, perhaps more Napoleonic-era in technology, or with "magic spells" instead of firearms. Age of Firepower is distinctly renaissance, but I'd like to see what else I could do with the excellent world of Pendor.
Edit: As to why it's incompatible with 3.9.X: incompetence on my part.
Need update for 3.9.2
