Junior Video Game Programmer job - Techtonic Games Inc.

Santa Barbara's largest video game developer, Techtonic Games Inc. is looking for a rock star programmer to help us develop our future award winning mobile/tablet/web games. Requirements

• Degree or strong experience in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
• Excellent understanding and practical experience in C# or a similar language
• General understanding of multiple other programming languages
• General understanding of common development practices (version control, agile development)
• Ability to quickly understand, debug, and modify existing code
• Strong analytical technical problem solving skills
• Applicants must be able to work at our studio in Santa Barbara, CA

Bonus XP for

• Experience with Unity
• Scripting behavior in modern game engines (Unity preferred; can also accept XNA, Unreal, UDK, Torque, etc.)
• Interacting with computer graphics (code that interacts with or controls UI, materials, particles, etc.)
• Experience working with common game constructs (physics, collision, vector math, etc.
• Profiling and optimization
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Amazingly good math skills

• Experience developing for PC/Mac, mobile, tablet and web games
• Strong personal interest in developing and playing games
