Hello, I'm a representative of the newly formed indie developer “Rhetoric Games”. As a start-up developer, we're looking to develop our very first simplistic game. Nothing too hard to accomplish as our very first project. Our goal is to make a game around these guidelines: Single Location. Endless. Competitive (translate to immersion). Easy to play but hard to master.
We're looking for:
- Programmer (unity)
- Sound engineer
Note: We do already have a programmer onboard, but he's not as available as I'd like him to be. So the new programmer coming in will have to be willing to do some heavy lifting. Open and receptive. Partake in gaming discourse and answer questions within a 24 hour time-span. (most question are regarded towards the programmer, which is why this is a necessity. No answer equals not progress; you can see why this is important)
Ideally, I would like this project to be done within two months or less. There's no real specific deadline that'll dictate your work ethic, but keep in mind a speedy process is best.
Also, polish is the name of the game. Considering the content of the game itself isn't as gargantuan as our counterpart developers, we'll be using most of the time refining the game. Not matter how small the game--12 minutes or 12 hours-- we'll use every ounce of our power to make every single second smooth and enjoyable.
We are currently comprised of:
- Creative Director
- Animator
- Concept Artist/Character Design
- 2d Designers (various areas)
- Programmer
