Did you include my work on the custom main menu by any chance? -- Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons News and Downloads |

At the moment all that i have for the patch is what was included in the patch i uploaded a while back, no one has passed anything else onto me yet. Are we including the graphics mod for the patch or not? Edited by: Luke159 |

I don't know what patch you uploaded; I only got GoF 1.0.exe . I'm just replying on stuff from the main forum here because the forum still indicates being OFFLINE. Sorry bud, thourght you had the patch. Here you go GOF 1.0 Patch No i haven't got the main menu work, if you can upload it that would be great. Then i can get that added to the patch. Is that what you changed the arrows? |

I didn't do anything on those marks above the ships and it turns out I don't HAVE to either. You can already turn this off in the Options menu with the "information about ships at sea" toggle. You might want to check the textures of the FleutOfWar1; she seems to have a weird quarter-circular mark near her bow that looks quite out-of-place to me. It's especially obvious on the Hull2 texture. It might also be worth double-checking Batavia21's hull textures. Especially Hull3 looks weird near the bow. And the whole ship doesn't even remotely look like the Batavia; seems to be a frigate of sorts. For the main menu file, I have uploaded "coas_mainmenu.exe" to the CoAS FTP in Luke159's folder, containing my changes for the main menu, along with any other files in my game that are different from the GoF 1.0 ones. Also included is a changed progress.tga.tx loading animation from the old PotC SLiB mod. Ask Imperial for his additional changed texture files, such as the changed wood and main menu text stuff. -- Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons News and Downloads |

Hi Luke, FYI, I've included the new menu code in my "AOP COAS GOF changes - JA - v1.1.zip" file (see Testing for GOF thread). I haven't included the new progress texture either as I like the cannon ball one more than the skull. But you choose what to put in the GOF mod. Cheers, JA Edited by: belthorne |

If you don't like the skull, you could also take the PotC: New Horizons one of the PotC: CotBP style cursed coin, or the one from stock PotC (the weird artifact) or maybe the spinning wheel from AoP 1. I just had a look through your files; looks very good indeed! One question though: why would you want to have the "start at Bermuda" thing on by default? I don't think that was ever intentional; just a way of getting around bugs with having a random starting location. But your other code should have that sorted already. -- Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons News and Downloads |

That start at bermuda thing was fixed on in the code I got, and I didn't like it, so I made it optional. If it was just a temporary thing, then I'll remove the whole thing and let it pick a random city. |
