AetherForged
MOBAAetherForged is a new MOBA game developed by o7 Studios as a spiritual successor to Dawngate. The goal is to create a MOBA game that's more fluid to play...
Dawngate was EA's first dip into the crowded pool of the MOBA market, but they put together a studio known as Waystone Games and they created something special. Unfortunately, the game wasn't doing as well as EA had hoped, so they chose to cut their losses and disbanded Waystone.
Yet, all hope was not lost. The Dawngate subreddit still remains active; it is here that a small part of the community started work on "Project Dawngate Rebirth," which eventually became known as AetherForged. AetherForged is currently being created by o7Studios, a small team of 20 passionate developers with an ambitious goal.
We are creating a truly unique MOBA. We're taking the basic development philosophies behind Dawngate and building on them. We are able to look back at existing MOBA games and see what worked, what didn't work, and where there's potential for beneficial additions. The result will be a refined and polished experience with smoother gameplay, more engaging mechanics, and an immersive world with a heavy focus on lore.
Please visit the AetherForged subreddit or our ModDB page to learn more about the game!

Hello! I saw your project long ago and got really hyped about it, felt good that there were some other people that tried to remake a really unique idea that EA long abandoned. At the same time me and two other guys worked together to make our own version of Dawngate. But because we had no programmers all we have left is a bunch of drawing that can't really do anything on their own... I got disappointed in myself and felt like all my hours were wasted in vain. Until I saw your stream. It seems you guys are really making something, I think this game will progress and develop into a really nice game. If you ever need more help with the game in the art department I will surely volunteer at any time, at least that way I can make some use of these concepts.
I hope you will get far on this project.
Sincerely, A Fan of Dawngate.
