Hello,
We are currently look to hire a level designer to help build some of the levels for our game Rack N Ruin. This will be a short contract position that will last 2-3 months. It is purely design work, focusing on level layout, enemy placement, puzzle design, and event handling. We currently use Unity 3D to develop our game, so all of the work will take place within the Unity environment. our game is at an Alpha state so all of the tools required to design levels are complete.
We are looking for someone with...
-Knowledge of Unity 3D's editor. The position requires no coding but an extensive knowledge of how to get around within the Unity environment.
-The ability to make fun casual puzzles that aren't too ambiguous while retaining a balanced level of challenge.
-Prior work examples. This can be a anything from currently AAA published games, to mods work, to unfinished personal projects, to game jam games. Just a sample of some levels you have built.
