History

As the older player demographics of the digital game industry grew larger, an opportunity to consult game development studios on how to make games that are accessible, appealing and marketable to 50+ year old players presented itself. Lifelong Games fills this niche, and relies on decades worth of research and experience in working with older players to help companies design better games for an aging demographic.

Furthermore, the company also self-publishes small indie games that are designed for a broad audience, but that are centered around the life histories of older adults. It's first game Brukel (2019) tells the life story of a female 92-year old WW2 survivor that grew up in Belgium.
