I want to give a brief update in what I've been doing lately. I'm getting back on the track of learning game development(As yous seen with my other post). I'm learning XNA and now I'm learning Unity. Mainly the scripting part of it. I've been learning day by day on how to script events in the editor, so I'm hoping to become the programmer of the group.
I'm currently reading a book(Unity 3x Game Development Essentials) and from their, I'm creating a island to help me learn the basics in Unity. When I'm done with it, I might have it as a Download so you can see how it is :).
Once I finish it, the sky is the limit! Okay, enough with these cliches. Anyway, I have one planned game/level I have in mind doing, but I don't want to think tooooo far ahead. I also might want to do a update to the Robot Wars game but that may just be too much of a hassle. I haven't decided yet. Plus, I want to have a fresh start with the new engine. I'm now focus on the programming part instead of trying to be the All-In-One package. I want to be a Level Designer, but focus on the scripting side of things. Way less complicated in my opinion.
Once I complete the book, I plan to at least create something everyday. Whether it's scripting or visuals, just to make me learn something from Unity. Whatever my plans is, I will make sure to tell you all about it, so PLEASE come back and see some updates from me!
