The first title published under the Funatics label was a board-game conversion of the table-top classic "Settlers of Catan". It was published in 1999 under the name Catan – First Island by Ravensburger Interactive. The game to this day has a reputation as one of the best board-game conversions of all time; over 200.000 copies were sold in Germany alone.

With over 300.000 copies sold world-wide, the Cultures series is the most successful product line in the company’s history. The first part was released in September 2000; while 2003 saw the release of "Cultures – The Saga", the seventh installment in the empire-building strategy game series.
