Criminal Concepts is a one man show at the moment, but a new branch of exploration for a small creator owned comic imprint. We are currently developing a line of first issues for a select group of launch titles, one of the books is currently being developed for film and I'm interested in building a prototype for a videogame.
I'm however not a programmer or 3d artist of any kind. I can provide full realized plot lines and arcs for a rich cohesive narrative, dialogue that will bring a game to life and story concepts you would find in the mainstream. I can also provide comicbook style concept art from a group of fantastic artists in our team and pages from the source material before they are sent to the printer. We are looking to build a fully functioning prototype for a first level and are looking for anyone who wants to help out in potentially creating an indie sleeper hit.
The title we are looking to develop is Cocaine Disco the story of a retiring hitman and his boss' coke head son in a 72 hour downward spiral into Vegas' criminal underworld in a fictional 1970s world. The comic is heavily inspired by grindhouse cinema of the 60s 70s and 80s and would make for a great 3rd person shooter in the vein of the last of us gameplay wise. Combat would be more about picking your battles or going balls to the wall and hoping for the best. The story offers a lot of room for variety with cinematic mini missions like car chases, torture scenes, etc.
