CGA Studio (previously Onteca) is a Liverpool-based independent publisher that has been making games since 2001, with a Wii cult favourite under their belt: Monsteca. The team have many years of experience, working for major studios such as Sony, Lucas Arts, and producing content for the BBC, AMD and Intel. Until 2015 CGA produced top-tier Casual mobile games. During 2016 they expanded their portfolio with PC games like Space Ribbon, a party race game on Steam. CGA also put their experience into Health Care apps with Chill Panda; a "relax to win" game among the Top 5 Apps to Reduce Anxiety in Children. Over the past few years CGA has grown into their own as an indie developer and found their niche among retro arcade games such as Pinball and classic racing games. Using their expertise in emerging technologies (digital twins), CGA are developing ultra-realistic games like Virtual Driving School. 2022 marked CGA’s first release as a third-party publisher with Formula Retro Racing.

Formula Retro Racing is a 8-circuit retro style racing game influenced by the classic arcade racers of the early 90’s.

Featuring the fast and exciting gameplay that the genre is known for, Formula Retro Racing captures the essence of old school racing games with low poly graphics, a retro soundtrack and high speed action. This revival of the classic-arcade racer takes advantage of modern hardware with smooth high-frame rate visuals as well as improved car handling and physics.
