I came here through clicking Commnunity->Polls ontop of indiedb.com and now it seems this poll is already closed after 6 hours, something not working or intended this way? I'm on Firefox 3.6.16 if that helps...
actually the issue is that the Poll square on the right hand side disappears once you go from Communities->Polls then choose the current poll, not a biggie
Available now, where? Wasn't it meant to be released this August? Anyway, there's no option here "waiting for the exact license information and the main download to try it out first".
I have to say Cryengine 3 is good, but it's just as much an engine like UDK or Unity. It has it's pros and cons. Unreal for example also has some serious stuff incoming... Unless it would provide some extremely great features that I cannot live without, I would switch - but otherwise, finish the project on the current engine, and THEN consider starting the next one on it.
Don't get me wrong, I don't say it's not a good engine... It has it's good side as well just as any other. But for example, it doesn't support Linux like Unigine, or it can't run in a browser like Unity. :) Best of luck for all devs that decide to switch. Curious to see what people will make with it.

You are right, I should have said "available" soon

CryEngine's got some nice shaders and all, but Source is modular, optimized, and it still looks good
