More games are coming to Linux. OpenGL 5 has been announced to be more like AMD's mantle.

Unless Microsoft pulls a 360 and does something totally competitive in the marketplace. A slow APIs no longer cut it for games. :\

PCs are good for gaming whereas Macs are better for working...

Macs are terrible for working! If you want to work, use Linux. PCs are superior for gaming, of course.

Unfortunately there wasn't much competition here. Linux is great, Mac looks great, Window dominates right now. This is changing slowly but still changing which is good for all imho.

Windows all the way through.

Microsoft Windows > Apple Macintosh

When it comes to phones...
Apple iPhone > Windows 8 Phone

Microsoft is a better computer developer, but not a better phone developer.

Linux already has a bunch of free multiplayer games that work way better than on Windows, it's just that people are used to Windows, because there are many more releases. Look at me, I'm making a game using cross-platform compiler and engine, but will only release the game for Windows. Maybe one day for Linux as well, if people accept the game.

If Linux can get more games, maybe Ubuntu becomes a little more user friendly, or some other version of Linux comes out as simple as Windows 7 can be. Then maybe Linux can hit it off with the popular crowd and get some games developed for it.

Until then, Windows all the way.

Meet us at GDC 2014
Who is going to be at the GDC in SF this month? WE WILL! Our booth number is 310 and we will be showing some cool new games using our SDK from our partner developers, some just launching these days on Android, iOS and Windows. We'd love to meet developers with a touch or keyboard game that wants to port their game to motion. Make sure you stop by!
Also, you can contact us directly at – products@xtr3d.com
