Hey folks! I'm Kevin from RetroNeo Games in Ireland. Founded in 2015 we're making our first 'real' game "Sons of Sol: Crow's Nest" for the PC for release in late 2016/ early 2017. It's "Asteroids meets Total War". To get specific, take a 3D space combat game like Wing Commander, put it into 2D, then add the strategic elements of an Xcom or Total War game and you've got Sons of Sol. Play for yourself and see how you like the direction we're headed. Currently I'm looking for an artist for the project so please get in touch if 2D spaceships are your thing.
