I was born on a cold September morning at the Gary Methodist Hospital in Gary Indiana. The year was 1966 and the world was much different then. At the time we all lived on or near clay street in Miller across the tracks from the predominantly rich Jewish community of Miller Beach in Gary Indiana. Lots of poor, young men died in Vietnam so that wealthy people could have dinner parties and celebrate the deaths of those young men. If I were old enough to understand what was going on I would have new hero's besides Batman,Superman,Spiderman, and they would be the Weathermen, The Black Panther Party, And the Grateful Dead.
