Talent Required:
Technical Artist
Requirements:
+ Use world generation pipeline along with UE4 tools to create new worlds and maps.
+ Document internal processes for world creation and regularly partner with other team members to share knowledge and ideas.
+ Organize, create, and maintain complex procedural systems used for 3D world generation.
+ Work with other artists and the content team to ensure high-quality and consistent outputs.
+ Work with modelers and programmers to create 3D art and bring it into the engine.
+ Support artists and engineers in the use of the 3D art pipeline and user-facing engine tools.
+ A leadership role, provide hands-on support to artists and engineers in regard to asset performance and validation.
+ Develop 3D art pipeline tools and extensions for usability and efficiency.
+ Solve challenging technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline.
+ Collaborate with engineers and testers to diagnose and resolve in-game problems.
+ Inspire and empower the art team to optimize their processes.
+ Able to consistently communicate in a professional mode, even under stress, with engineering, art, production, and business personnel.
+ Thrive in semi-structured, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environments.
+ Meet deadlines and deliver content.
Bonus:
+ Military experience, or experience with FPS military simulation/sim-like games.
