Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and create innovative concept designs and compelling gameplay for the free-to-play title Overstep
- Improving the efficiency of game design testing where possible
- Clearly communicate and document game concept ideas
- Actively guide the progress through its lifecycle from conception to launch, working with all the team members
- Creating game design documentation
- Work efficiently to meet set deadlines
- Develop the main project Overstep (FPS) with a vision for the future
- Guide all aspects of the game design including but not limited to: entertainment, pacing, monetization, social, and player acquisition/retention

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years of game design experience in the games industry
- A strong understanding of competitive game models and monetization
- Strong time management skills
- Broad knowledge of console/PC games and passionate about up and coming trends and titles in the industry
- Highly self-motivated and eager to learn new systems and skills
- Fluency in written/spoken English
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, but equivalent experience will be considered

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with UE3/UE4 projects
- Currently living close to Estonia
- Experience with designing first person shooters and console games
- Understanding of Unreal Engine 4 and other related technologies that pertain to game design

NB! This current employment opportunity is a contract based position which may become eligible for full-time status if certain performance metrics are met. We accept remote work, but prefer team members moving to Estonia for at least 3 months.
