Deuzspark Technologies is looking for a Character Artist to join our awesome (but a bit crazy) team!

====About Us====

We are a small indie studio from Quebec with a team of 5 passionate persons from Saguenay, Montreal and the US, most coming from the game industry. We are also a proud member of La Guilde Du Jeu Video Du Quebec.

====Our Projects====

We are currently working on two amazing IPs simultaneously:

The first one is an innovative Sci-Fantasy MORPG (In the like of Fallout 76 with small CCU server instances) in a decaying world full of magic where technologies are engineered from taping in arcane energies. It is still in preproduction and should be(At least) a 5 years project.

The second one is a cute but insane couch-coop topdown tower defense game, where players play as funny animals that needs to save their sweet Canadian home forest from an evil corporation trying to transform it in 'THE BIGGEST SHOPPING MALL OF THE WORLD!!!'. It has born from an intern Game Jam project, and we liked it so much that we decided upon making it our active short-term project!

All projects are using Unreal Engine 5.

====About you====

We are looking for a Character Artist that can, from concept arts, model our characters that will then be used inside our games.

We also required that this person be in a timezone near Easter Time since we are doing a meeting each week and it's much easier for management and for you too!

We are also open for other roles, feel free to reach us.

====About Remuneration====

Since we are a self funded studio and having no current incomes, we all work voluntarily without much remuneration for the moment, but we are working hard over securing fundings, subsidies and such. As such we give our team members complete freedom over how much they want to contribute each week since most of us have other jobs. We use a contribution-based approach so that everyone is rewarded fairly for their work when we will be able to!
