Gemot games is a modern 3d columns clone and it started as a fully custom rewrite of the open source dark gdk for our development purposes plus a simple, quick prototype game to use as sandbox to test our language and functionality on. That's right, this game only started as a test project and we do so love that :) When we had finished our tests we realized we really liked this prototype for a lot of reasons so we decided to put our planned projects on hold and develop our test prototype further. Why? Our prototype looked good and was seriously fun to play. That simple. Fast forward 3 months, we have a fully working game that's currently deep in alpha stages and development on it is progressing at a very fast rate, mainly because we know exactly what this game should be. Based on the team and the speed of development, we expect gemot games to be complete and ready to play by the end of the year.
