Empires of Eradon is a fantasy Online MMORPG developed by Golden Realms Entertainment. It takes many aspects of popular ORPGs and mixes them into a unique a visceral experience! Using 16 bit old-school graphics and a simple, yet easy to manage combat and UI system. The game takes places across the lands of Eradon as not only empires but factions and evil forces threaten the very stability of world itself. It's up to adventurers like yourself to set out on a quest of self discovery in this land which is new to you. A land where anyone may become a famous knight, wealthy trader, or feared murderer. *Please not that the game is currently in Early Development and is far from complete in many aspects but a public dev server is needed for client data.

Welcome to the 0.1.10 release of Empires of Eradon! We are excited to release this update in preparation for the much anticipated 0.2 Client. This update is larger than most and commands multiple forward iterations, take a look below to get an idea of what's new and what's updated!

Welcome to the 0.1.10 release of Empires of Eradon! We are excited to release this update in preparation for the much anticipated 0.2 Client. This update is larger than most and commands multiple forward iterations, take a look below to get an idea of what's new and what's updated!

Quick note to everyone, we will be discussing among the team how we are going to handle Spell distribution. At the moment the way spells are acquired isn't the way we want it, we will be working until the next update to completely change the spell acquisition mechanism. We don't want to reveal too much yet but there is a good chance spells will no longer be "Purchasable" from trainers but rather "Learned" to the player from the NPC. More new about that to come...

Changes:

Graphics:
Tons of new graphics and art has been added/changed
Certain player sprites have been updated as they were out of line
Added lots of items
Added lots of enemies

Enemies:
Lots of new enemies can be found throughout the game

Lighting:
Players now have a base lighting throughout the world
World lighting has been improved dramatically

Time of Day:
ToD is now more accurate timing and lighting wise
ToD is now nicer looking and gets darker over time instead of instantly

The World:
The Southsea region is now larger and has multiple new areas to explore
Westmare Forest can now be accessed via West Hawthorne
There are multiple new buildings and houses throughout the game
Multiple new underground areas available
A new high level Mining Spot has been added deep into Westmare Forest

Resources:
Mithril, Silver and Coal can now be mined in the game using a pickaxe
Redberries can now be foraged for in game using a shovel
Fishing spots now available around the game

Items:
Lots of new items added to the game
Multiple new gear with visual graphics added

Spells/Skills:
Guardians can now purchase some of their skills from Warrior Jet
(please not only Guardian and Elementalist specs have spells/skills at the moment)
Astrology can now be learned from the Generic Spell vendor
Astrology will attempt to approximate the current time of day
