Hello everyone!

We haven't posted any news recently, and I would like to remedy that right now!

As the title suggests, we've added a very important piece of the puzzle to DoD: portals!

What are portals, you might ask?

In DoD, we are sporting the concept that players will be able to fast travel to areas of Daggerhelm using magical world portals located at the top of the spawn level. By using a world portal, your character is instantly transported to a random location in a completely randomized map where random monsters spawn to fight against you as your explore and learn more interesting things about Daggerhelm and gather gear.

This is a fledgling concept that has been just added to the game, so we are currently working out the kinks in this new-found ability.

How do portals work?

In general, DoD portals work the same way that any other portals from other similar games work. When you walk up to the portal with your character, all you need to do is press the E button and your character flies through time and space and plops right down in the area you desired to spawn in. For example, if you've already beaten the grassland and want to go to the lava area, simply use the portal that is colored red and it will transport you to that area automatically.

Next up on our roster of changes:
- Sample area for transportation
- Enemies, health and damage
- Potion NPC

Further down the development line:
- Randomized maps
- Swapping out classes
- Dynamic launcher design
