This patch contains improvements like an improved map, and a fix for the forge altar bug, plus additional fixes for the german version.
Important!
To use this patch with a retail version (Retail support is currently suspended), please make sure Patch 1.6 is installed!
International fixes:
- Allows for an easy installation of in engine graphical enhancements enabling V-Sync, AF and AA
- The forge altar now needs the correct combination, no more cheating or frustration
- Shows only the credits slides for your selected language
- Change subtitle font to caligula for the last puzzle in the sanctuary
- Includes a ported and improved version of the Improved Map Mod by Madvi
- Fixed appearing Zak after rewatching a vision in a room, where Lydia should be alone (only available for languages with improved map, because the file shares the same folder)
German fixes:
- Fixes typo in the last credit slide (done by denizoezmen)
- Fixes translation (e.g. Kreuzweg -> Kreuzgang + Korridor)
- Fixes typos on the second floor map
- Fixes subtitle timing of videos
- Adds more information to the first floor map
- Adds the missing file whyOnlyZakZ3.ogg now recorded by the correct VA
- Overhauls the second part of the Trial of Wisdom, with new and original poetry
Update 1:
- Removed the missing VO again, because it was synched by the wrong person due to a script error, will be readded later
- Added fixed credits.tcl for all languages, to prevent the game from crashing in the end
Update 2:
- Readding whyOnlyZakZ3.ogg now recorded by the correct VA (there was a script error that lead to that), who came to the sync studio for free to record this one line.
- Improved Map has been ported to german and the code has been improved to shrink the file sizes from the original dramatically
Update 3:
- Forge altar will finish now successfully, when entering the correct combination
- Improved Map now available for english, the original russian version has been ported for the new code
- Lots of improvements for the german game version
Update 4:
- Added improved map for french translation

Update 5:
- Ported Improved Map to all available languages and split Whispering Stairway into two areas
Update 6:
- Updated puzzle translation for tapestry in german, dutch and spanish
- Added the possibility to skip puzzles instantly from the ? menu
- Shortened the potion selection text in the german translation, because it was overflowing
Hotfix 6.1:
- Accidently added the spanish tapestry files to the german folder
- Fixed a bug that colored the west bridge on the map instead of the area around the library
